Montreal's Place Ville-Marie
Montreal’s first modern skyscraper, Place Ville-Marie was built in 1962 in a cross shape. This daring, multi-towered complex set the bar for modern architecture in Montréal and was the starting point for the city's world-renowned underground pedestrian network.
Go outside of the Place Ville-Marie to benches that make this the perfect place on a sunny day to sit, relax and just gaze at the view of Mont-Royal. The building’s plaza, just upstairs from the mall, is also a great place to relax with coffee or a snack from the food court below.
