Fête des Neiges de Montréal Winter Festival
Montreal's Fête des Neiges de Montréal (Montreal Winter Festival in English) is a family event that is been happening for over 25 years. It is Montreal's largest outdoor winter event and it began in the early 1980s. Amongst the various activities is playing in the snow, skiing, skating, building snow sculptures, sliding and tobogganing.
There are various attractions, spectacular shows, special events and many other winter activities wating for you and your family at the Parc Jean-Drapeau during the Fête des Neiges de Montréal. The Festival even has its own mascot, Boule de Neige (Snowball in English). This winter festival draws thousands of people each year and continues to grow.
Each year, the Fête des Neiges de Montréal celebrates the very essence of winter in the heart of the City. The 2008 Festival takes place from January 26 to February 10, 2008.
