    Montreal's Saint-Catherine Street
    Saint-Catherine Street (La Rue Sainte-Catherine in French) is considered to be the heart and soul of Montreal’s downtown core. Anybody who has ever visited Montreal will tell you about the wonderful shopping centers, the plentiful restaurants and the various cafes that are all located on this street or near to it.

    Saint-Catherine Street remains a popular tourist attraction because many major retailers have large stores along the street. Walking down Saint-Catherine will take you to some of Montreal's best shopping centers. Some of the shopping centers located on Saint-Catherine include:

    A Festival on Montreal's Saint-Catherine Street

    Sainte Catherine Street defines everything that is Montreal. It is hip, chick and trendy. It’s also a street that never sleeps. Running parallel to the Underground city, it is the steet that most shoppers use to enter or leave the underground city. There are many tourist attractions that reside of Saint-Catherine street. Some of the more notable ones include the Montreal Forum, the Place-des-Arts and Montreal's Gay village.
