Montreal's Chinatown District
Although quite small, Montreal's Chinatown (Le quartier chinois de Montréal in French) is quite busy and activate. And like any authentic Chinese food lover will tell you, the only place to go to get the real thing is Chinatown! You can find some of the best Chinese restaurants, oriental shops and establishments inside Chinatown. Since it is considered to be a tourist area within the city, Chinatown stays open well into the night. Many restaurants and shops are open till 3am in the Morning.
Among some of the different types of food available in Montreal's Chinatown are Cantonese seafood, Vietnamese, Thai and dim sum restaurants. Montreal's Chinatown is located in the area of De La Gauchetière Street and Saint Laurent Boulevard, inside the downtown district.
