Montreal's St. Patrick's Basilica
This 1847 church is said to be one of the purest examples of the Gothic Revival style in Canada. Rarely visited by sightseers, you may want to take the time to visit this wonderful church. Inside, the colors are soft and the old pulpit has panels depicting the apostles.
Make sure you don’t miss the huge lamp decorated with six 6-foot angels hangs over the main altar. The slender columns supporting the roof are actually pine logs lashed together and decorated to look like marble!
The St Patrick's Basilica is located at:
460 Boulevard René-Lévesque West
Montreal, QC H2Z
